Du Buh Du...revisited

The latest work of Christine Alvarado of Du Buh Du Designs is stunning. She simply outdoes herself with each new doll she creates. I am awestruck over her work on The Carnivale Soiree and the incredible photographs she created to document the series. Catch all the updates via her lovely blog and Flickr. xo

little black rabbit

I love these recycled tin art and jewelry pieces by Seattle artist, Nancy O. of little black rabbit. I'm thinking about one of her delicate necklaces for my niece's next birthday and I'd happily wear any one of these sweet charmers myself! xo

You've probably already heard about the new journal the talent behind R. Wood Studio have created- Beauty Everyday...curated by, Rebecca Wood, Kristen Bach and Rinne Allen. Its a comforting addition to the day to read their thoughts, recipes, and see the photographs that turn your mind back to the sweetness of the South. I am planning to try Rebecca's vegetarian collards recipe this week...mmm! These folks have been so good to me over the years...I had to share the news with you too! xo

Das Parkhotel

You gotta share all your camping essentials with me and I'll gladly go camping with you....otherwise it isn't done. I think I could delightfully hack these surprisingly cozy quarters in Austria. Former concrete drain tubes have been retro-fitted for maximum comfort and storage for overnight guests. Showers, a cafe and all the amenities are close by in a shared space and you are welcome to 'pay as you wish'! They are located on the shores of the Rodl which flows into the nearby Danube. I think my folks ought to consider adding a few of these to the pasture outside their house. Great idea for housing all those kids. xo {Visit Das Hotel} {Flickr Album}
