the lovely white owl

Revisiting my love affair with the white owl sister's creations today. I've been hiding out immersed in reading "The Age of Innocence" and can imagine the divine Madame Olenska wearing any one of these incredible pieces! xo

    This is the most beautiful jewelry I have seen in awhile. That first and second necklace are going to haunt me forever.

    such exquisite pieces and so perfectly in keeping with The Age of Innocence. Such a gorgeous book! i would like to revisit it. Martin Scorsese's film version is dreamy too. As i recall, he uses a powerful 'flower' motif throughout. Jxx
