Allyson Ross

Allyson Ross has been creating her magical mixed-media jewelry that combines vintage finds with cast silver for many years before it recently became all the rage. She was one of the first jewelry designers to catch our attention when we opened shopSCAD. Her vintage embroidery and button rings flew out of our cases, appeared in Lucky Magazine, and eventually Anthropologie took notice and the rest is herstory! Allyson constantly surprises me with each new line of work she creates -such as her new entomology line and her doll-house photography- that are mysterious and laden with personal history. You can view her jewelry on her website allysons-designs and her new photography on allyson-ross. com. Her work is available to purchase on her website, at shopSCADand from her Etsy shop. Watch this girl fly!!

I'm now combing through your posts like mad - I really love your eye and your design sense. Just thought I'd mention that if you're into the photography of miniatures like the evocative ones above, you might like the work of David Levinthal. Just sayin'...
