Melanie Bilenker Jewelry

I came across artist Melanie Bilenker via Crust Station-my favorite blog for finding out about extraordinary and offbeat artists.
The Victorian custom of preserving locks of hair and miniature portraiture in lockets to remember loved ones inspires artist Melanie Bilenker to preserve moments from her own life through her line drawings-made in part from her own hair-encased in resin set in gold. Visit her website here for more.
