Flickr is so cool. I came upon this incredible 'ship jacket' by one of my flickr contacts- the very talented fiber artist, Margaret Oomen. She shares images of her projects on flickr and her great blog, resurrection fern. She took her daughter's old Gap linen jacket and made the original work you see below.
