Saturday I participated in Newberry, South Carolina's 1st Annual Garden Tour! Every garden on the tour featured a different local artist and I think the combination worked wonderfully! These photos were taken by my friend Kirsten Lindsay-who is also responsible for organizing a new downtown Newberry Farmer's Market-coming in June!

The garden photos are great! thanks for sharing. I used to live in Asheville back in 1977. Back then the big attraction was the Smokey Mountains. I heard that a terrific art community is now there as well.
