Fayetteville Arkansas Farmer's Market

Saturday we visited Fayetteville's amazing Farmer's Market! The rain didn't stop any of the fun! The flowers and vegetables were bountiful and it seemed to me to be a bigger and better market than ever before! There were also several artists, musicians, even a juggler that made it magical!

My sister and her kids peruse the green beans.

Sweetest little lady-ten years old!

The loveliest gardens surround the downtown
Fayetteville square!

Couple dancing in the rain to a guitarist and homemade bass!

Pretty Japanese turnips!

This is undoubtedly the most beautiful setting for a farmers market I have seen, and I have seen markets from coast to coast. Most are in parking lots, not an enjoyable shopping experience. Here, one is brought into the community of farmers through the markets setting around the old Fayetteville town square. All markets should strive for this setting, it helps draw customers.
