Swapatorium

Last night I spent over an hour marveling at the found photos, ephemera, and collage art of Angelica Paez in her Flickr collection, Swapatorium. The photos in this album (and the sampling below) are from her personal collection and are not for sale, however she maintains an online shop, Snapatorium with loads more that are! xo

Excluded
I think this would make a great painting.

Book
I'd like to shop this photo!

These Ladies Bowl for Schlitz
I love how their hands were uniformly staged.

Photos thanks to Angelica Paez and used with permission.

OMG...the Texas kiddies are just too fabulous. I love the boy with the way oversized cowboy hat and suspenders. And the way the other kids are so distracted...must have been like herding cats for that poor photographer! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the link...fun site! Reminds me when I interned at in the MGM Photo Archive going thru old movie stills when they were creating their stills database, old photos all day everyday...there is just something about an old photograph, the history, the moment, the time it took to get the photo on paper, we are missing that these days...I digress into my "things just aren't like they used to be" tirade!
