hand.craft.it

Exhibit Poster by Methane Studios

Yesterday I drove down to the super charming Madison, Georgia to drop off my work for the upcoming hand.craft.it exhibit! I was late as usual but thanks to Angela Nichols it was no problem! I got to see a preview of Mummy Sam's incredible dolls and Alabama Chanin's fiber works! I hope to go back for the opening reception on Saturday, Nov. 22. I also want to see the screening of Faythe Levine's, Handmade Nation(as a work in progress). I was a dodo and forgot my memory card so I don't have any photos of the quaint town or the beautiful and historic Madison-Morgan Cultural Center so you will just have to visit! They have some very interesting antique/junk markets and several lunch spots just down Main Street from the Cultural Center. Here's a sneak peek at the opening stop-motion feature of Handmade Nation I found on Etsy. Below that are some of the pieces I dropped off for the show-can you tell I took them outside in the Center lot? I'm running a bit frantic these days! xoxo

That is the coolest little video I think I've ever seen! I want to go now for sure! I actually teach art to the son of Methane Studios right here in Newnan. What a great poster. Good luck at the show!!
