There are so many lovely images appearing on blogs of the designs created at the Farm Chicks show last week! One of my favorites was a display by the artists behind aNeMonE Handmade Paper Flowers that was posted on Bari J.'s blog! Visit their incredible website to purchase! I really appreciate that you can purchase a bouquet or single stems of your favorites!

Diana Fayt
I love Diana Fayt's ceramics. I love the unaffected sweetness of her line drawings that are somehow burnished in the clay. And, how lucky are Heather and Benjamin?? I dream about purchasing my own kiln someday! Diana doesn't know this, but she helps me keep the dream alive! Her available works are listed in her Etsy shop here.

Skinny Laminx
I had an OMG! moment today when I clicked on the blog link on a comment I received here yesterday! It was from Heather Moore of Skinny Laminx! I am a big fan of her work and was elated to find out she writes a column for Elle Decoration's Blog! She is extremely kind in extending credit to me for introducing her to the work of Thomas Wold! She didn't need to-but boy am I tickled pink that she did! I have had a crush on Elle Decoration since college. I even sent them a bunch of handbags I made in my early twenties-which they politely sent back with a gracious letter that I still keep in a scrapbook somewhere! Thank you, Heather! Visit her blog today to see a great coverlet she made!

Etsy Update
I've been using more and more hand-spun yarns which is so much more exciting! I finally got myself down to In The Loop- a fantastic yarn and knitting shop in downtown Columbia, SC! Next door in the same quaint little house-turned-shop is the sweet "paperie," Jot. She carries some great lines of paper goods such as Snow & Graham, Kate Spade, Waste Not Paper, 16 Sparrows, and In Good Company printable stationery. Both are located at 2321 Devine St.

Wendeline Matson-New Works
I have been trying to get back into painting mode-and no paintings excite me more about the process than the wonderfully layered impasto paintings of Wendeline Matson! As fate would have it-she will be attending her work at a reception in Tulsa, Oklahoma this Thursday the 19th at M.A. Doran Gallery, 5-8pm. I wish I could blink and be there. Wendy is a truly magical person! Her work was recently featured in a huge spread in Southwest Art magazine- to view click here. I love the cakes!

Thomas Wold
The furniture of Thomas Wold makes me crazy with longing!! Thomas creates many of the cool projects seen in ReadyMade magazine! Visit his Flickr album to see his various projects and his website for more information. I found out about him through another favorite: Knack Studios! Both designers make modern furniture from vintage found pieces. *swoon*

Happy Father's Day!
"How come I love you so much?" My dad was always saying that to me while I was growing up. I used to shrug it off embarrassed or say something silly back-but now I realize how lucky I was and am to have such a wonderfully loving and selfless father. He has done so much for our family and for me including honoring every little dream I've had for my life by fully investing his hard earned money and trust in me with enthusiasm and love. I could not possibly ever thank him enough for all he's given me, but I can continue to try to make sure he knows how much I appreciate him, respect and love him!
I love you, dad!
See you soon! xoxo

I am also grateful to have a wonderful father-in-law now too! Thank you, Fred, for your generosity in helping me with so many projects and the kindness you've shown me! Your endless energy and devotion to helping others and animals is an inspiration to us! Jon and I love you so very much! xoxo
