I'm not scared of this domestic darling...in fact, I'd like one of anything she's crafting. Polly Danger carries a range of handcrafted fabric wares along with incredible notions- all made by hand! I appreciate her sweet confectionery stripes and styling. Visit her Etsy shop. xo

little black rabbit
I love these recycled tin art and jewelry pieces by Seattle artist, Nancy O. of little black rabbit. I'm thinking about one of her delicate necklaces for my niece's next birthday and I'd happily wear any one of these sweet charmers myself! xo

When in Doubt Draw Flowers
Italian artist and designer, Nel Dubbio Disegna Fiori (When in Doubt, Draw Flowers) creates the most arresting necklaces from vintage vinyl wallpaper! She also makes handbags, reusable lunch bags, journals, lamp shades and earrings from the same incredible vintage French papers! What I've shown here is but a small sampling-visit her website or Etsy shop for more! Even more amazing are her hand-painted papers with patterns adapted from her vintage collection (last photo).

Yorktown Road by Carol Gilbert
I love these pieces by Carol Gilbert, a Northern Californian fiber artist who individually produces each from "pattern-drafting, hand-dyeing fabric, and texturing" to construction. I love her organic and modern style and the fact that all the leather she uses is repurposed material! Visit her Etsy shop- Yorktown Road.

Moop
I've been on the hunt for a new bag that will change my life and I think I've finally found it! (I had my hopes set on a DrikaB -but waited too long and, of course, its gone! ) So, now I need a bag by moop! This cool girl Wendy (I'm hoping that's her in the photos)makes them all by hand- in her big gorgeous studio that was converted from an old mill somewhere in western Massachusetts. I think I really just want to be her. Just look how she rocks those boots, that bike and those bags-even a hip belt! Her craftsmanship looks impeccable too-and I love her industrial chic colors! Must...hurry.... and.....pick....just....one..... Read her interview as Etsy's Featured Seller here.

Drika B
DrikaB's bags are so clever! I love her use of upholstery-grade jute webbing for handles! (I've used it recently to frame my paintings! Good stuff!) She creates a totally modern bag by pairing beloved old-fashioned fabrics like ticking, linens and jute with pretty modern fabrics! And these aren't just totes- they are beautifully structured with added pockets-so the bottom of your bag doesn't become a scary cesspool like mine!

dollybags
Doing some serious window shopping today on Etsy! It is amazing to me how many incredible finds, new artists, and fresh designs can be found each and every time I visit! Today I found these pretty bags which appear impeccably crafted from the best vintage fabrics. Olga and Maria create dollybags together in limited editions from their studio in Amsterdam.
